The restored Pine Grove Post Office was part of the 20 Mile House, a stage station in present-day Parker.

Four Mile House, part of Four Mile House Historic Park, was the last stage station before entering Denver.

The 1865 South Branch of the Smoky Hill Trail merged with the Cherokee Trail at 20 Mile House.

Seventeen Mile House, three miles north of Parker, is being restored, and will be part of a larger interpretive center.
